I was looking at pictures on my camera one day when I came across a picture of Chewie. It was a picture of when he was a baby, and his eyes weren’t even open yet.

Chewie is 1 year old, and is part poodle, shiatsu, and papillon. He is small and feisty. He is also the youngest of four. His family is a brother and two sisters. Whenever he was born he came out backwards. Chewies brain might have been damaged.

When Chewie was little he tried to walk. Only he kept falling down. He was determined to walk. Even his brothers in sisters had their eyes open and were walking. Because he came out head first when he was born he had trouble walking. All his siblings ran around outside the box. Chewie tried to climb out but he was too small. Sometimes he would climb on his siblings to be tall so he could go out. When their eyes opened his siblings ran about the house while he would take three steps and fall down. He tried again everyday but it never worked out. So he stayed in his box. He sat there only barley walking to his food and water bowl. While he sat there he watched the cat and dogs walk by. After observing them for some days he decided to try walking again. Still he fell but he didn’t give up. He watched his dad walk and tried again. This time he didn’t fall down. He was so glad he could walk. The next day he was running with his siblings. His sisters and he were sold, and we kept his brother. Chewie caused trouble so he wasreturned to us. His brother and he are still living with us today.
